The Place in Guilford

Wanted to try out the new sandwich place in Guilford. Came in and immediately yelled at by counter person for going to the Called In First counter as we had not called in our order. We’re told brusquely you “go down there” so we did. They seemed not to have heard of several sandwiches on their own menu. One sandwich ready in 5 minutes. Went back to wait for the second. After 10 more minutes waiting we went up to see why the delay. Turns out the sandwich was there the whole time but they never called us. A sarcastic “Oh sorry” and we left. Rude and incompetent (or maybe just lazy). Real jerks.

The staff is awesome

When you go here order the "Wali" aka the giant 56 with everything!

The subs are excellent. There always seems to be too many people working there, the music is super out of place, and the price of the subs are a couple dollars too much so I won’t 5 star but the subs really are very good. Taste really is the most important factor at the end of the day and these guys are killing it.

Not open yet 6/28/19

This shop recently opened and is really nice inside (clean and shiny). The food is good and staff are all right. You can get in and out quickly. There are 30 minute parking spots right out front.

Very nice store and wait staff. Cold cuts sliced fresh as I placed my order.

Boy I haven’t had a sub in a long while and we got them at work from your place. They were very good! And I’m super fussy!

They were great the first few weeks then they started putting less meat at $8.95 a sub I expect to have a decent size sub. I could go to subway and get more meat I gave them another chance and it still wasn’t good I will not be going back I was going 2 to 3 times a week!

Sub was really good but the price is kinda high.

Drove out here, turns out not open yet. How f'ing hard is it to put "opening soon" beside the location on the website so people don't make this mistake?

So I went there last weekend and the staff was phenomenal!! There were two specific crew members that were so friendly The Tall skinny guy at the slicer was so nice and friendly had a smile on his face the whole time we talked and he took my order and the girl with the short haircut at register was so friendly and helpful as soon as I came in I was greeted and helped

Had a very good experience in this spot with my friend. The food comes out quick and the customer service is just excellent. Prices are convenient.

This place was so hard to find. I ended up asking the 8th graders where it was since they walk to the green every day after school. Apparently it’s near Walmart. Smells like great customer service and experienced deli workers when I walked it

Took the grill an exceptionally long time to make 2 subs. Ordered my bacon ranch chicken with no tomatoes, got them anyway. Boo to the listening skills

Was thinking of checking this place out but unfortunately on the posted menu there is one vegetarian option which is a rather lame option at best. In this day and age you would think there would be several options for vegetarians but I guess not. Will revise this review if the menu expands, although this form of protest might not work well!

Overpriced, generic subs. For the same price or less you can get a better sub from one of the local mom & pop sandwich shops or Italian restaurants (theres about 8 in the immediate vicinity). Only recommended if you're in a rush and even then, you'll be waiting. My sandwich was bland, the bread super doughy/chewy. Veggies are dry. Overall unappealing.

It was great the first day opening the subs and fountain drinks were free the workers so nice and polite and the food was amazing 10/10

Clean, quick, friendly staff + owner. Great food at mid level prices and a FAR better option than the nearby subway

we have been there 4 times and had no problems at all. whitney the manager is so awesome she is very nice and answers any questions you may have and the other staff members are also very nice. all you have to do is ask for a sub that is on there website and they will make it for you.. you get what you pay for and there subs are awesome. I have a subway across the street from me but I go to jersey mikes in Guilford..
